Acronym for Three Degrees Of Freedom.

Refers to Headset/tracking technology that only allows for the head to rotate around 3 axis: roll, pitch, yaw. 3DOF does not track your position in space. Like you are “stuck in a sphere”. Ex: Google Cardboard, Oculus Go.
